ＳＯＭベルチオレンズでは必須の28ｍｍアンギュロールレンズですが、この個体は通常見られる同レンズとは形がかなり異質です。
また通常の形のアンギュロールレンズと同じ構成なのかどうかもわかりませんが、レンズを外から比較した感じでは、中身は同じようです。
購入してから15年以上経ちますが、未だに同型のレンズとは遭遇しておりません。ただ、コンタックスマウント用の個体に同じデザインのものがるようです。
数的にはマイナーですが、個人的には外見はこちらのレンズのほうが好みです。通常の形はなんとなくイメージが自分に合わなくて、購入することに逡巡していたのですが、こちらのものであれば問題ありません。

小型で軽量、しかもクロームのＭ８にもぴったりと合っていると思いますし、ブラックのライカにも調和してくれる素晴らしいデザインだと思います。
描写も古いレンズなりの若干のフレアと周辺の流れ、多少のぐるぐるもありますが、ピント部分および画面の大部分はしっかりと描写しており、周辺光量も落ちませんので、非常に使いやすい広角レンズだと思います。

Angulor 28mm is an essential lens among SOM berthiot lenses, but this individual lens has quite different shape from other common type.
I even don't know whether this has the same composition with the usual type, but I might judge it has the same composition as observing from outside.
Personally I prefer the appearance of this lens more. An image of the ususal type didn't fit to my mind, I was hesitating to buy it, however if it's this one, it's no problem.
It is small and light-weight and I think moreover it also matches M8 chrome so much, and it should suit black Leica body as well. This lens has a very cool design..

Because of its age, I can see flare in general and flow with a little swirling in the circumference area, but the focus part is good and steady, and the surrounding light value doesn't also fall. So I think this is the wide-angle lens I tend to use often. I did the cleaning of glasses of it recently.

(都電沿線)

気持ちよいほど暑い夏の一日でした。都電荒川線の熊野前駅から周辺を歩いてみました。暑さゆえにあまり人通りはありませんでしたが、下町の夏のの空気を感じることができました。
このレンズは35mmフルサイズだと周辺がやや欠けるのですが、だからと言って、小型で美しいこのレンズの品格に鑑みれば、その価値を損なうものではないですね。

今年は東京の桜の最盛期は京都に行く予定でしたので、少し早いですが、東京の開花直後に夜の写真散歩と楽しみました。
レンズはすべてこのアンギュロール28ｍｍｆ3.3です。

久しぶりに三脚を使用しましたが、さすがに夜景をシャープに美しく撮影するには必需品であることを再認識しました。

ベルチオの珠玉の広角レンズ、アンギュロールの華麗な発色を楽しみました。

As I had a plan to go to Kyoto during the high period of cherry blossoms in Tokyo, I walked around with S.O.M Berthior Angulor 28mmf3.3 for several nights.

I used a small tripod this time, I really re-recognized it is a mandatory item to take sharp and beautiful photos at nicht.

I enjoyed the brilliant colors of Berthiot's jewelry wide angle lens - Angulor.

今回の川越散歩ではいろいろなレンズを持参しましたので、アンギュロール28mmを装着したのはわずかな時間でした。枚数も少ないですが、乾いた冬の光線を感じ取ることが出来るでしょうか？

Because I brought several lenses this time to Kawagoe, I could use this lens only a short amount of time. I hope if you could feed the dry winter ray of light.

Shinagawa Shukuba Matsuri
(品川宿場祭)

グラウカー80mmf2、キノ・プラズマート35mmf1.5に続き、3本目のレンズで品川宿場祭を楽しみました。
他の2本のレンズと比較していただくと、このアンギュロール28mmf3.3のシャープさが際立っていることに気づかれると思います。また、線の細さも見事ですね。
また、このレンズの描写の特徴でもある「独特の青」は、今回の作例でもところどころで見られると思います。

I enjoyed a photo walk with Leica M-P with the third lens of that day following Glaukar 80mmf2.0 and Kino Plasmat 35mmf1.5. To compare the other two lenses, you can easily realize the sharpness of this Angulor 28mmf3.3. And the very fine lines description is also fantastic.
The specific Blue color expression of this Angulor lens could be obserbed in most photos.

山崎研究所にお願いしてレンズを研磨していただきました。これでフレアも無くなり、本来の描写が楽しめます。ただ、カラーになんとなく青が乗るのは変わりません。やはりアンギュロールの特徴ですね。
ボルドーを訪れるならやはり9月末の収穫時期をお勧めします。第一に木にブドウがなっています。第二に収穫作業を見られるかもしれません。収穫している人たちは皆気の良い人達でした。第三に収穫をするわけですから、天気が良いです。今回も一度も太陽が隠れることはありませんでした。
世界遺産に指定されているボルドー旧市街にもちょっと怪しげ？な地域があって、そこでは日曜日に大規模なフリーマーケットが開かれていました。興味を注がれましたが、何も買わずに我慢です。値段は聞きませんでしたが、外国からバイヤーが集まるというわけでもなさそうなので、決して高くはなかったのだと思います。

I asked the Yamazaki Laboratory to clean up this lens. The flare has disappeared and I can enjoy the description of the original condition. The main characteristic of bluish color has been unchanged.
If you visit Bordeaux, I recommend to do in the end of September. Firstly, there are grapes on the trees. Secondly, if you are fortunate, you can see the 'Harvest' there. They were all very good tempered people. Thirdly, it should be nice weather because of the timing of harvest. The sun has never gone behind clouds during my visit.
There is a kind of unsafe area in Bordeaux town which designate the world heritage, I found a big flea market on that sunday. I was interested in very much, but I could controlled myself not to buy anything. I did not ask the price, but I suppose they were not so much expensive in such local market which seems no foreign buyer come to lay in their stock.

Chiswick House
(チズウィック・ハウス)

ロンドン市内からヒースロー空港に車で向かうとちょうど行程の中ほどで左側に見えてくる（塀だけですが）のが、このチズウィック・ハウスです。かつての王族（公爵）の住まいでした。最近のキーラ・ナイトリー主演の映画（09年度アカデミー衣装部門受賞）でもモデルになり、実際に撮影に使用されました。
残念ながら内部はほとんど撮影禁止でしたが、内装は部屋ごとにを赤・青・などの色で統一されており、ベルベットが貼られた壁面と、その壁面を覆いつくす絵画が見事でした。
庭園も非常に広いのですが、残念ながらほとんどの部分が工事中で入れませんでした。それでも作例に見えるような広さです。

When you go to the Heathrow airport by car from the London city, you can see this Chiswick House(only wall from the car) on your left side around the halfway of a journey. It used to be a residence of former royalty (duke). The movie casted by Miss Keira Knightley (won the Academy prize of costume section in fiscal year 09) was taken there actually. Unfortunately the inside of the palace was almost prohibited to take photo, but I enjoyed the interior unified each room by red, blue and other colors, and the excellent painting which covers up the wall which is covered by velvet totally. The garden is also very big and wide, unfortunately I couldn't enter most parts because of the construction works. Still you can see the size from example photos.

(ハンプトン・コート)

ヘンリー八世と妻達の愛情と確執の舞台となったハンプトン・コートです。2段目に作例を載せている中世そのままの台所が見事で、現在でも実際に竈に火が入れられています。ちょうどこちらの桜（日本のソメイヨシノとは異なります。咲く時期も早めです。）が満開の時期になりました。
逆光線が入る部分はフレアがかなり出ていますが、あまり程度はひどくありませんので、むしろオールドレンズの雰囲気を良く出してくれいるようにも思えます。

This is the Hampton Court which became a stage of affection and feud between the Henry the 8^th and his wives. The kitchen which maintain just as it used be in the Middle Ages is excellent (photo in a second row), and the fire is kept in the cooking stove actually even at present. It was full bloom time of cherry blossoms even it is different from the Somei-yoshino cherry tree in Japan and blooms earlier here. Flare has come out at the part backlight enters, but the degree isn't too terrible, so in fact, I think it seems to create rather the atmosphere of the old lens well.
